Jason Farrell and Joe Kincher join us to discuss Victor Salva, the director of Clownhouse, who was convicted for raping the child star this film from 1988, and how and why he has continued to have a film-making career over the last 30 years. This was a springboard to a larger discussion about the matter of separating the art from the artist.

TCTT at the Movies: Q, THE WINGED SERPENT (Larry Cohen Tribute)

The great screenwriter and director Larry Cohen left this earthly realm on March 23rd of 2019. The Hollywood Theatre in Portland dedicated a showing of Q: The Winged Serpent in his honor. Jacob Balcom and Matt got mic-ed up and attended the screening and then broke down the crazy later on Skype. Starring: Michael Moriarty, Candy Clark, David Carradine, and Richard Roundtree and NYC.

It's been a whole month since we published an episode. If it makes you feel any better, we've been slaving away on the new Rifftrax iRiff, so we have most definitely NOT been idle. That should be out in the next few days. In the meantime, we chatted about Michael Stanley's '85 Attack of the Beast Creatures. What Jaws did for swimming at the beach this did for going on luxury cruise liners in 1920....I still shudder every time I book a trans-Atlantic cruise for '20. Brrrr......
Also, Scott talks a bit about the Siberian yeti attack of 1959 (I kept that bit in just for you all).

Emergency Double Feature

Scott felt that Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror (it's just one night, by the way) didn't have enough rotting meat on its Italian bones to fill a whole podcast, so he requested a double feature with The Crater Lake Monster (1977), or, as Matt likes to call it, "The Cracker Lake Monster."

Coming up for Halloween...

Now that we're Stabilized, we're moving on to a classic zombie film from Italy: Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror (original title: Le Notti del Terrore, a.k.a. The Zombie Dead, a.k.a. Zombie 3). This film features ancient Etruscan zombies, some impressive make-up, and the greatest mother-son relationship in cinematic history. Enjoy the might and majesty of Peter Bark, the full-grown midget who plays a young boy. Crazy.
